WP6: Development of passive acoustics sensor systems
This WP will develop a new, compact multifunctional and cost-efficient sensor system for passive acoustics. This module will include the transducer(s), the firmware for pre-processing and the software for post-processing of acoustic information.
WP Leader: PLOCAN
The objectives of WP6 are to:
- Develop the integrated passive acoustics transducer stage
- Develop algorithms for chosen platforms to allow monitoring of multiple variables from single sensor systems.
- Assemble the new acoustic sensor systems, ready for integration on chosen platforms.
- Test, calibrate and optimize the new acoustic sensor systems for scientific validation and demonstration activities.
