CMR (Norway)
CMR conducts research for industrial development where CMR Instrumentation conducts research and development within instrumentation. CMR employs currently 150 persons, where 30 are situated within CMR Instrumentation. CMR has developed oceanographic instrumentation since the 1960s and has extensive experience within all aspects of instrumentation design and development from prototypes to finished products.
CMR will bring to NeXOS its expertise in the development and producer of automated measurement systems for environmental purposes including the Sailbuoy, an autonomous surface vessel for ocean research and measurement. CMR has also experience in designing sensor systems from data acquisition of the individual sensor to data dissemination and aggregation.
CMR will contribute to this project by aiding development of software/electronics of sensor systems and by testing/validating sensors by use of an autonomous sensor platform
